Recent Adventures...

So I must apologies; my presence has been somewhat lacking of late.

But to be honest, taking a much needed break from life and frolicking through assorted European countries is a pretty fucking good excuse in my opnion.

I sometimes question what possesed me to step foot back on the plane that would inevitably send me hurdling right back into reality, but here we are.

And so I pondered, what better way to celebrate my time abroad (and instil sheer jealousy in others) than to share a few treats?

5000 Hits And Going Strong!

I was walking around the Strand Arcade yesterday and saw this amazing display of fresh designs - I think it's from the latest graduates from TAFE. I'm always excited to see up-and-coming designers showcase their talent - sometimes in the Australian fashion industry I feel there isn't enough support and/or opportunities for newbies, making it incredibly hard and discouraging to get a foot in the door. But you should definitely try to get down to the city and check this one out.

I wouldn't mind getting my little styling hands on some of these creations!

Peek-A-Boob!

So first came the traditional cleavage, then we had the butt cleavage, following that was the "side boob" craze, and just plain old "tits out" has always been a popular breast display. But now most recently we seem to be exploring the "under boob". I've seen this around quite a bit recently, and I must say, I think it's pretty fuckin' hot. It's like a peek-a-boob; a tease; and I guess I like to be teased!

Being Sick Is Boring...

The title pretty much says it all. Hopefully I won't infect you with my intense boredom, but while aimlessly meandering through the intricacies of the interwebs, I stumbled across the eerie and addictive sounds of Orion Rigel Dommisse. And while the whole indie-sounding genre isn't really my thing at the moment, with song titles like Drink Yourself To Death and Fake Yer Death, how could I not immediate fall in love?

Pair that with reading one of my all time favourite books in the world, Tim Burton's Melancholy Death Of Oyster Boy & Other Stories. You will never come across more disturbing and sickly hilarious tales. And the book itself is so beautifully designed; from the paper stock, to the typeface and the sweetly simplistic illustrations - I just can't gush enough apparently.
